Grantown on Spey

The historic capital of Strathspey offers gracious Georgian and Victorian architecture and a host of visitor attractions. There are specialist shops on the impressive main street, art galleries, a folk museum and lots of arts and crafts.

Grantown-on-Spey has a wide range of accommodation and some excellent Restaurants.  During the Festival transport is available for visitors to “journey down stream” into the heart of Speyside and to enjoy the many activities available.

Not far away is the pretty village of Boat of Garten, famous for its ospreys nesting in Abernethy Forest.
