Wildlife and whisky walk , Ben Rinnes

Join the ranger in a walk up Ben Rinnes, height 840 mtrs (ascent of 550mtrs) where we will keep a look out for mountain hare and ptarmigan, whilst learning about mountain flora and footpath restoration along the way. Please note this is a strenous walk and a reasonable level of fitness is required. Bring plenty of refreshments, waterproofs and stout footwear. Meet 10am at Ben Rinnes car park - from Dufftown take the B9009 Dufftown to Tomintoul road and after approx 6kms turn right onto an unclassified road (signposted for Edinvillie).
