Festival Moment Photo Competition

The Festival Moment Competition is aimed at all who visit the Festival in May and is a fun competition for digital images only.

2009 Winner and 5 runners up are announced!

The winner is Eline Duine from the Netherlands with Spirit of Speyside on Ben Rinnes. 

The runner ups are:
Heino Merten, Germany with 'History meets Presence'; 
Teun Van Wel, Netherlands with 'Nosing Competition'; 
James Gordon, Scotland with 'Video'; 
Helen Crighton, Scotland with 'Rolling out Barrel';
and Andi Fricke, Germany with 'Having a Good Time'.

The winner and top 3 runners-up will be sent bottles of Award Winning Malts. Thank you all for participating in the Festival Moment competition and we look forward to seeing your photos in 2010! 

Our judges have enjoyed the challenge of choosing the winning photographs. They had a tough job as the standard of photos has been very high and the variety of events attended and recorded immense. See the winning photos and the runners up and finalist photos at the link below:

Festival Moment Competition 2008

Festival Moment was introduced in 2008 and entries came from far and wide. The winner was Gunnel Palmér from Norrköping, Sweden with her image Slainte taken in the Glen Grant Distillery Garden. Gunnel is a regular visitor to the Festival and her picture, one of nearly 100, entitled “Slainte” (Cheers), was a worthy winner. See Finalists and winners at link below:
